Which NHL Player Should I Get On My Jersey?

It used to be that you chose your officially licensed hockey jersey by selecting your favorite player. These days however, purchasing a hockey jersey or football jersey is strategic. Gone are the days of one superstar staying with a team for most, if not all of his career. These days, free agency and the allure of a big payday can complicate the choices of a professional hockey gear-buying fan.

So some fans of a sports team t-shirt design will often pause and think about the longevity that a particular player has with his current organization before selecting which number they should select.

Case in point, fans who wanted to purchase a John Tavares jersey had to wait an agonizingly few days during 2018 NHL free agency before buying. Some thought that he would re-sign with the New York Islanders. Others were trying to handicap which NHL team would land him. Eventually, his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs squad ended up signing him to a long-term deal. The length of term delighted fans of the hockey player, paving the way for a ton of John Tavares Maple Leafs hockey jerseys to be bought up by fans everywhere.

Conversely, fans of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston have got to be concerned that Ryan Fitzpatrick is currently starting or the club. That said, Fitzpatrick is a career journeyman and Winston is a former first round pick. So there's a good chance that he will once again be the starter at some point in 2018 and beyond. Indeed, official Buccaneers hats and hoodies? would be more popular if the team was more consistent.

But here's the thing - if you have a favorite player then you'll like him no matter who he's playing for. So unless you're a die hard supporter of one football or hockey team only, go ahead and trust that your player won't let you down - wherever he plays next.
